5 Travel Destinations in 2016

Last year was the year I finally travelled to Indonesia. To be more specific, Bali. Beaches, palm trees, getting lost in the jungle. Everything happened, and it was perfect. Except that night I suffered heat stroke and had some fantastic hallucinations. I also went to Paris, which at 24 having never been, it was really about time. It was everything I could have hoped for, in addition to some very well dressed French men.

This year there are three destinations on the list, two of which I've never been to before.

Stockholm, Sweden.
I have a feeling I would fit in here very well. Great interiors, amazing fashion and picturesque buildings, it's a destination that has been on my list for a few years. The Scandinavian way of life is something that I love, and reading about it makes me very excited.

Krakow, Poland.
Whilst this hasn't been on my list half as long as Stockholm has, the history behind Krakow is mind-blowing. I still don't think Poland is as a desirable travel location as it should be, and I can't wait to venture around the Eastern European gem.

New York City, USA.
Having been to New York three times before (twice in the summer, once in the winter), I feel there's only one thing left to do, and that is visit NYC for New Years'. My friend and I have decided to bite the bullet and the hotel is booked. We're headed Stateside, and we will watch that ball drop as if our lives depend on it.

Brighton, UK.
Not exactly exotic, but I definitely don't appreciate what we've got here in the UK half as much as I should. Beaches, hot doughnuts, great food. Why I wouldn't like it, I don't know.

Mykonos, Greece.
As you can see, my list is very Europe based and that's because so often I think of destinations that are thousands of miles away when in fact some of the most beautiful places are right on my doorstep. Heading to Greece will allow me to live out my 'Mamma Mia' dream, as well as eat all the Tzatziki and pitta.

World, I'm ready for you.
